The warmer weather is upon us and the pace is not slowing here.
Our months have been full with continually improving, refurbishing and trialing our system with pleasing results. We have some farmers locally who are part of our trials – we enjoy working with these farmers and appreciate their support with our progress.
We have established a partnership with a company in China who will be our contract manufacturer, so we are in the process of handing over our design procedure for our first batch. It is very exciting times and a testament to the huge dedication and skills our team have shown.
For the first time, we exhibited at the NZ Agricultural Show 2019 held in November. The Canterbury A & P Association are the hosts as explained in their website, “a charity whose aim is to promote the importance of farming, produce and innovation to New Zealand as a whole.” It was a busy three days for us, meeting many prospective customers, all giving valuable feedback on our new system, with interesting conversations on farming in general.
And we won a prize at the Show! A large group of Lincoln High School students attended a Blinc New Wave Innovation Tour featuring all the companies in the Innovation Hub where we had our stand. They were then asked to vote on their favourite innovation – that turned out to be us, receiving the highest number of votes!
To finish up, we look forward to a busy and productive 2020 for us all.
